For those that are new to C6, this book gives a behind the scene look in the development of a C6. I bought this book after I took delivery of the C6.5 I ordered, and it made me appreciate the car so much more. It is very nice to see Dave's design philosophy and testing at the Autobahns and Nurburgring come together to create the final product. GM should include a copy with every new C6.5

Having previously owned 4 Corvettes, I have always loved the car and I really liked my new car, but I wasn't really aware of all the refinements that went into this new version. it is truly one of a kind....and a terrific "bargain" for the money when compared to other more expensive vehicles. This book spells it all out!

This book has a lot of good information about the C6 Corvette features and design considerations. However the endless Corvette hyperbole is tiring. If Jack Webb were still around, he would say "just the facts".

A great book for any C5 or C6 owner! It tells the story of the continuing excellence of the auto, really reveals how and why it is the best vehicle of its kind on the market.

Corvette C6 is basically A brochure in a Hardcover book. There is no tribute to it's heritage, only on the "refinements" i.e. that make the car sissified. It covers the Coupe And Convertible, There is no C6.R,Z06 ZR-1,Or the Grand Sport(the book is from 2005).Which To me are real Corvettes with Power. I don't want a Quiet Car, I want a Loud Car. I test drove a White C6 Coupe, Which Purred but also Roared once you open her up. I am Disappointed about The exposed Headlights, Only the Rear screams Corvette, It's too small. The Z06,Grand Sport,ZR-1 And C6-R Minus the wimpy Hybrid(C6.R ALMS) Deserve a Book of it's own.Now the book does go into Detail on Why Dave Hill,Tom Peters and Co Ruined the styling(Popup Headlights), and how they wanted it to compete more with Porsche 911 and the Then Ferrari Modena.Tons of Photos,But The Corvette Deserves better.
